TECH5 and SOTI Will Present an Innovative Joint Solution at the NSA Conference

TECH5 USA, a leader in biometric solutions for Law Enforcement, and SOTI, a proven leader in creating innovative solutions that reduce the cost and complexity of business-critical mobility, will present their innovative biometric and mobile offerings at the National Sheriff’s Association (“NSA”) Summer Conference in Oklahoma City June 24-26, 2024.

The joint solution includes T5-Identify and T5-Identify Mobile, which are part of the TECH5 Law Enforcement Solution that increase public safety and reduce costs for law enforcement agencies. Combined with SOTI MobiControl, which is part of the SOTI ONE Platform, agencies can save time and costs for deploying and managing TECH5 software and hardware.

T5-Identify helps law enforcement agencies identify criminal suspects to solve crimes more quickly thereby increasing public safety. The solution now provides identification using face, fingerprints, and tattoos using the T5-OmniMatch ABIS identification platform and can work with regional, state, and federal biometric databases.

T5-Identify Mobile provides contactless fingerprint capture on standard Android and iOS mobile phones using T5-AirSnap Finger technology. This eliminates the need to purchase and manage expensive biometric-specific mobile devices and allows officers to perform rapid identification in the field. Both T5-Identify on Livescan workstations and other PCs and T5-Identify Mobile on standard Android and iOS smartphones can be managed by SOTI MobiControl to simplify deployment, lifecycle management, remote monitoring, diagnostics, and security. SOTI MobiControl saves law enforcement agencies time and costs, allowing them to focus their resources on solving crimes and increasing public safety.

TECH5 and SOTI are offering a promotional solution that includes T5-Identify and T5-Identify Mobile applications paired with SOTI MobiControl. T5-Identify provides biometric identification and T5-Identify Mobile enables officers to perform rapid biometric identification in the field. SOTI MobiControl enables TECH5 and the law enforcement agency’s IT staff to easily set up, monitor, and manage these solutions. Agencies can obtain this joint solution from TECH5 either as a fully managed service, or they can license both T5-Identify and SOTI MobiControl as SaaS.

TECH5 provides some of the largest multimodal biometric databases and identification systems in the world for both criminal and civil use cases, including solutions in India, Indonesia, and Turkey.

TECH5 currently uses SOTI MobiControl to manage hundreds of mobile devices in over 30 locations for government agencies. Using SOTI MobiControl, TECH5 is able to automatically provision hundreds of mobile devices remotely, including the installation of the TECH5 software and the configuration of all appropriate device security settings.

TECH5 and SOTI plan to provide additional joint offerings, including support for additional TECH5 and SOTI products. All TECH5 Law Enforcement products, including T5-Capture for criminal bookings and civil applicants, T5-Investigate for mugshot lineups, and T5-Identify can benefit from the SOTI technology. Additional SOTI products will also be added to the joint offerings including SOTI XSight for operational intelligence, real-time visualization, advanced diagnostics, alerting systems, incident management and live support.
